Developing Outstanding New-Media Professionals

As information and communication technologies continue to evolve rapidly, the Department is committed to cultivating outstanding professionals for the new-media and communication industries. With an excellent faculty team, advanced teaching and research facilities, an LVS studio, and a virtual production system, we provide students with an outstanding learning environment.

Creative Hands-On Learning Environment

The Department provides five teaching laboratories: the Media Analysis Laboratory, Project Production Laboratory, Digital Audiovisual Engineering Laboratory (including a virtual studio, digital editing room, and digital recording studio), New Media Creative Production Laboratory, and New Media Communication Technology Laboratory, together with an LVS studio. A wide range of hands-on and project-based courses enables students to apply what they learn immediately, and all laboratories are open 24 hours a day.

Our curriculum emphasizes practical application and features specialized professional modules designed around the latest trends in the communication industry. We also incorporate industry co-teaching, internships, and the 7+1 academic structure to create a seamless transition from university learning to professional employment and strengthen students’ career readiness.
