The Department of Information Communication at Asia University offers a diverse curriculum with particular strengths in interactive technology, marketing planning, and audiovisual communication. We could choose from a wide range of courses according to our own interests and learning goals. The faculty cared deeply about each student’s development, paid attention to any difficulties we encountered in career planning, and provided guidance to help us find the path that truly suited us. I completed two specialization programs in New Media Marketing Planning and New Media Communication Technology. This taught me not only how to develop marketing plans that businesses genuinely need, but also how to use technology effectively to achieve those goals.

During my studies, I worked as a teaching assistant for two years. Group projects in departmental courses also taught me teamwork and how to deliver project outcomes that met defined goals. The Department provided students with abundant tools and resources. Beginning in my first year, I used the skills I had learned to take freelance projects online and even collaborated remotely with a well-known online fashion brand on website design. These opportunities were made possible by the teaching resources provided by the Department and the dedication of its professors. By following the curriculum and taking advantage of these opportunities, students can build a strong portfolio and enter the workplace with much greater confidence.
After graduation, I worked for two years as a digital designer at a well-known bridal company in Taichung. I later moved to Hsinchu, where I worked as a graphic designer at a public relations company and then in brand marketing for an international coffee chain. Over those three years, I applied not only my design expertise but also what I had learned in the marketing and technology programs at university, allowing me to become increasingly confident and capable in advertising and marketing. I have now been running my own marketing company for three years, specializing in online marketing strategy, social media management, and media buying for brands and businesses. The company continues to grow, and I now lead a team that develops marketing strategies for well-known corporate groups. I am deeply grateful that I chose the Department of Information Communication at Asia University. Its diverse curriculum and professional faculty inspired my interest in marketing and gave me the foundation to continue learning and growing steadily in the industry.
